Error converting MCAT specification to a valid ECAT specification.
This issue usually happens whenever a product, that exist on an Order, has incomplete settings or specifications.
Incomplete Product information on Setting.
One of the reasons for a product to have an ECAT / MCAT related error, might be due to missing product specification. A way to corroborate this is by looking at the Order XML details.
We can also corroborate this by looking at the product on the front-end, it will display the following error message, preventing it from loading specifications.
Resolution.
- Ask for a Catalog re-push.
- The incomplete product needs to be removed from Catalog, optional for the customer is to replace the products for a different option.
- Have Catalog team review the affected products.
Incorrect prices on front-end.
If incorrect prices are showing up on the front-end sites, this could mean that the CDA might have expired, the catalog pulls the discounts and prices from the CDA, if the CDA is no longer valid then pricing will default to full price, you can check for CDA number here: Search existing CDAs.
If the CDA was recently updated, the catalog and system will need time to reflect the changes. Similar to when you publish a catalog, it's not going to be instant.
